Betting Rules
1. General betting conditions
By opening an account, accessing Casino Chan or placing a wager, you agree to follow these Betting Rules and any other terms displayed on the relevant betting or gaming page. You are responsible for reading the information shown before confirming a wager. This may include the event, market, selection, odds, stake, possible return, closing time, applicable restrictions and any special conditions.
You must be legally permitted to participate in online gambling in your location. Players in Australia should only use the service where online betting is lawful and available to them. You must also meet any applicable age, identity and account requirements. Casino Chan may request information or documents to verify identity, age, location, payment ownership or account activity. A wager may be restricted, suspended or cancelled while verification or a compliance review is completed.
Each player is responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity carried out through their account, subject to any rights available under applicable law. You must not allow another person to use your account, place wagers on your behalf or access features that are not available to them. Accounts should be used only by the registered account holder.
- Only one personal account should be used unless Casino Chan has expressly approved another arrangement.
- False, incomplete or misleading account information must not be provided.
- Players must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering or unauthorised payment activity.
- You must not attempt to manipulate a market, interfere with the service or exploit a technical error.
- Wagers must be placed for personal use and not as part of a prohibited third-party arrangement.
Casino Chan may refuse, limit, suspend or review a wager or account where this is reasonably necessary for security, compliance, responsible gambling, technical or operational reasons. Any action will be handled in accordance with the applicable terms and relevant legal requirements.
2. Placing and accepting wagers
A wager is normally submitted by selecting the desired market or game option, entering the stake and confirming the transaction. A selection placed in a bet slip is not necessarily a confirmed wager. A wager is accepted only when the system records it as accepted and provides a confirmation or other account record. You should check your account history after placing a wager and raise any apparent issue as soon as possible.
Before confirming a wager, check that all details are correct. These details may include the event or game, market, selection, odds, stake, total stake and possible return. Once accepted, a wager generally cannot be changed or withdrawn unless a specific product rule, cancellation process or applicable law allows this.
Displayed odds, prices, balances and other information may change before a wager is accepted. Where an odds change or other material change applies, the system may ask you to confirm the revised details. A wager will be settled using the odds and conditions recorded at acceptance, subject to correction, cancellation or adjustment under these rules and any relevant product terms.
- A minimum or maximum stake may apply to particular products, markets, games or accounts.
- Some markets may be unavailable to certain players, locations or account types.
- A wager may be rejected if the market has closed, the event has started, a technical issue has occurred or the requested stake is not permitted.
- Multiple wagers may be combined only where the system permits the combination and displays it as accepted.
- A transaction record, confirmation message or account history is the primary reference for whether a wager was accepted.
You should not place a wager if you are unsure about its terms. If a market description, price or game instruction is unclear, review the available information before confirming. Casino Chan may provide additional rules for specific sports, events, games, promotions or bet types. Those rules may cover qualifying conditions, void events, postponed events, abandoned events, dead heats, statistical sources, game rounds, technical interruptions and other circumstances.
3. Results, settlement and corrections
Wagers are settled using the official result or outcome applicable to the relevant product. The source used may depend on the sport, event, market or game. Unless a specific rule states otherwise, a later change to a result will not normally change a completed settlement. Where an official result is unavailable, unclear or later corrected, Casino Chan may apply the relevant product rule or review the wager before final settlement.
A wager may be voided or cancelled when the event or market is cancelled, abandoned, materially changed, affected by a technical failure or subject to an error that prevents fair settlement. The treatment of related selections or combined wagers may depend on the applicable product rules. Players should review the rules shown for the particular market before betting.
Obvious errors may include an incorrect price, duplicate market, incorrect event information, incorrectly displayed handicap, wrong settlement option or another clear technical or publishing mistake. If a wager is accepted because of an obvious error, Casino Chan may correct or cancel the wager where permitted by the applicable terms and law. The intended position may be determined using reasonable information available at the time.
- A winning wager is credited according to the accepted odds, stake and applicable rules.
- A losing wager is settled when the recorded outcome does not meet the relevant conditions.
- A void wager is treated according to the specific product rules, which may include returning the stake or adjusting a combined wager.
- A tied or dead-heat outcome may be settled under a specific dead-heat or tie rule.
- Free bets, promotional credits or other restricted funds may be subject to separate conditions where offered.
Balances and settlement records should be checked regularly. If you believe a wager has been settled incorrectly, contact Casino Chan through the available support channel and provide the account details, wager reference, date, product and reason for the query. Do not send passwords or full payment details in a support request. A review may require additional information and will be completed under the applicable procedures.
4. Responsible betting, disputes and rule changes
Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you play and only wager money you can afford to lose. Never chase losses, borrow money to gamble or continue playing because you feel under pressure. Take regular breaks and consider using available account controls, deposit limits, time limits, cooling-off options or self-exclusion tools where offered.
- Decide in advance how much time and money you will spend.
- Keep gambling separate from essential household spending.
- Do not gamble when affected by alcohol, drugs, stress or strong emotions.
- Review your account activity and payment history regularly.
- Ask for support if gambling is causing financial, work, relationship or personal problems.
- Use self-exclusion or other safer gambling tools if you need to take a break.
If you have a question or dispute about a wager, first review the confirmation, account history and rules for the relevant product. Then raise the matter through the available Casino Chan support process, giving enough information for the wager to be identified. Complaints should be made promptly and respectfully. Casino Chan may request further information, investigate system records and consult relevant result or transaction data before responding.
These Betting Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to products, systems, legal requirements, security practices or operational procedures. The current version will apply to future activity from the time it is published, unless a different effective date is stated. Changes will not remove rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. You should review this page regularly, particularly before placing a new wager.
If any part of these rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these rules is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited in Australia.
